Wagner Thunderbirds open up their powerlifting season with a strong performance, placing third at the Texas Strength System Invitational Meet and scoring a total of 22 points to capture third place. The lady T-birds just missed second place by two points. The following athletes placed in this order:
1st Place:

2nd Place:
Elexia Rodriguez

3rd Place:
Fiona Gonzalez

The Lady T-Bird Powerlifting team will be back in action next Friday (1/27) at the same location. Lifting is set to begin at 6:00 P.M. at Texas Strength System Gym.
