Thunderbirds competed in their second meet of the season, both the boys and girls team each finished with a 3rd place plaque. Aryana Hernandez and Elexia Rodriguez led the way for the lady T-birds, Aryana finished 1st, and Elexia came in second place. Both also earned a spot to compete at the regional powerlifting meet by surpassing the total weight to needed to advance to the regional powerlifting meet. Others that added point to the 3rd place finish for the lady T-Birds were Laura Navarro finishing in 3rd place and Aaliyah Evans finished in 2nd place. Lady T-Birds will be back in action on February 8th, as they compete at the Texas Strength Systems Invitational.

Brian Gonzalez and Jerry Allen led the way for the Boys team, each both finished in 1st place for their weight division. Other that scored points were James Bruce (2nd Place), Azario Brooks (4th Place), Davion Anderson (3rd Place), Vaunray Ramsey (3rd Place), Jaylon Jones (3rd Place), and Dy'reon Monday (2nd Place). T-Birds will be back in action on February 9th, as they compete at the Texas Strength Systems Invitational.
