Thursday night was a good night for the Rodney Staley and Ke'von Carter. After qualifying for Area the week before, Rodney and Ke'von competed for a chance at Regionals. In the morning, Rodney set a PR for himself and jumped 6'3 to earn and 3rd place finish and a right to go to regionals. Then that evening, Kevon raced out the blocks against what could be the fastest 5A 400m run Edging out 4th place by .04 seconds to earn his right to run at regionals.
