The Wagner tennis team hosted a scrimmage against Southwest Legacy on Thursday, August 17. This was a tough match, considering the quality of the competition and the scorching heat! With temperatures reaching 107, the two teams battled it out for several hours playing a total of 18 matches. While Wagner came up short, there were many positives to take out of the match to prepare for district play. Wagner is in a highly competitive district, so the mixture of the heat and good opponents is necessary to be prepared. Wagner's next match will be the district opener to be hosted at Wagner High School on Tuesday, August 22 at 4:00 PM against Seguin High School.
