The Lady T-Birds took our talents to Laredo, Tx over the weekend to compete in the Border Olympics Tournament hosted by Laredo ISD. We got to work early and put the first game away with a 73-60 win against Alexander and closed out day 1 with a 68-18 win against Cigarroa. Senior PG LA Sneed stacked up 46 pts (6/8 from the 3) in the blow out.

Day 2 kicked off with a 68-58 win against Harlingen and rounded out the day beating Westlaco 68-41. Nia Mcbride and Jenae Moore kept us going in both games with stellar performances on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.

We finished the tournament run playing for the Championship against a tough Laredo United South. The Panthers were seeking out revenge from our previous match up in November. Both teams battled bucket for bucket but at the end, LA Sneed sealed our victory with clutch free-throws to put it away by 1 point!!

We return to Dub Nation with a 5-0 Championship showing and tournament awards from LA Sneed-MVP and All Tournament Team-Nia Mcbride & Jenae Moore!
