On Tuesday night, the Lady Thunderbirds hosted Alamo Heights in a district match. The Thunderbirds lost the match 9-1. Wing, Juany Corpus, scored the teams first goal in district. Corpus was able to make a run for the ball, beat the defender, and took a shot from 20 yards out. Janet Blancas got the assist by sending a perfect line up the right side of the field. The Thunderbirds will host Boerne in a rematch on Friday 2/14 for their next match.
